Georgia Neal - Program Coordinator

Georgia has been the Program Coordinator with the CASA Program of Humboldt County, Nevada since 2026. When she first reached out to the 6th Judicial District Court about becoming a volunteer in 2023, she was disappointed to find out the CASA Program was not up and running in Humboldt County. Fast forward several years, and she found herself in the position of being in charge of the Program! Georgia brings a varied background of experience to this role as an early childhood educator, non-profit program coordinator, and foster parent. She is deeply invested in creating a safer and more loving world for every child she meets, and aims to do exactly that in her community through her role as the Program Coordinator of CASA of Humboldt County, Nevada.

Georgia is originally from Texas, but has lived all over the United States and in several other countries. Both of her parents served in the United States Air Force, which she credits as a significant factor in shaping her belief in service, adaptability, and the power of community. You often can find Georgia spending time with her husband and children outdoors, whether that is camping in Lake Tahoe or playing at the playground. She loves to rearrange her house on a regular basis, much to the dismay of her family. Georgia never stops planning her next adventure abroad, but since she cannot hop on a plane every week, she likes to cook dishes from around the world- some attempts turn out better than others.
